Let’s face it: College students have a lot on their plates. Thinking about the next roof over your head can get a little overwhelming. The University of Texas at Arlington, the city of Arlington and the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex offer a variety of housing communities to suit any housing needs, but where do you start?
In this edition of the Maverick Housing Guide, you’ll find listings for housing options organized by location, as well as comprehensive tips for making the big move. Each page contains a wealth of information that can be helpful in your decision. Photographs take you inside each community, and a map can show you how to get to the University of Texas at Arlington campus from that complex. In addition, you’ll find information about floor plans and rates, not to mention leasing office hours. Options include on- and off-campus residences. All information was provided by the property managers.
We’ve also provided a number of checklists for you to use. Before you start your search, brush up on what different leasing terms mean, how to plan your move and what to consider when choosing utility providers and roommates.
The Maverick Housing Guide is distributed for free on the University of Texas at Arlington campus and is available throughout the academic year. The Guide is published twice a year, once in January and once in June. The Guide can be found across campus in indoor and outdoor distribution points.
